Hunter Education Classes
We hold several classes here at the club. Check the upcoming events or the Fish & Game website for future classes.
Archery
Archery is an activity enjoyed by many here at the Club. 3D as well as Bag targets make up a variety of situations, from ground level or from our large elevated platform. Archery shoots are held from April to September. For information please call Karon Given at 802-254-6097
Kids Outdoor Day
This annual event occures every Spring. The day promotes an appreciation for outdoor sporting activities. Children are encouraged to experience fishing, target shooting and archery for free under adult supervision.The event has been attended by over 100 children and their families each year.
Trap Shooting
The Harold Deyo Memorial Trap Range hosts a variety of trap shooting events each year. Weekly shoots are held every Sunday from 1pm until 3pm . Anyone interested is welcome! We also host a winter trap league for die-hard enthusiasts.

Bass Tournaments
Annual spring and fall bass tournaments are held on the Connecticut River. These team events are major fund raisers for the club. Large mouth and Small mouth Bass are caught in the four and five pound class. This event is the oldest annual Bass Tournament on the river and has attracted upward of forty anglers each event.
Carley Memorial Trap Shoot
The Carley Memorial Trap shoot draws enthusiast form all over New England, and is a very interesting event with repeat shooters year after year.
Rifle Competitions
Sportsmen, Inc. hosts Black Powder, Pistol and Military Rifle Matches each year. Military matches as part of the Civilian Marksmanship program. Check our calendar for up coming events.
Sight-In Days
For the three weekends prior to the start of the Vermont Rifle season, Sportsmen, Inc. provides an opportunity for hunters to sight-in their rifles with the aid of spotting scopes and professional assistance.
Stew Night with the Legislators
Come sample a variety of game stews and meet local legislators.This is a great opportunity to talk with our legislators and give them feedback on issues which effect our sports.
Camper Scholarship Awards
Through the Maisner Memorial Fund, the club offers Camperships for a variety of Summer Camps such as the Green Mountain Conservation Camp, Boy Scout Camp and Girl Scout Camp.
